The head of European diplomacy has allegedly suggested to Beijing that peace in Ukraine is dangerous for China, according to MEP Gheorghe Piperea.
NEWS: Kaja Kallas warns the Chinese that it is not in their interest for the war in Ukraine to end. Peace in Ukraine, says Kallas, would allow the Americans to focus on China.
At least it is in the interest of Europeans to continue financing the war in Ukraine, so that the country is more thoroughly destroyed, while the fat, green, and leftist European internationalists go about their business of fattening pigs and pursuing their regressive ideologies, and the EU member states march steadily toward bankruptcy.
NARRATIVE: The European Union does not want Beijing to support peace in Ukraine.

WHY THE NARRATIVE IS FALSE: Most likely, the claim that Beijing fears a concentration of American resources in the Indo-Pacific region is true, but China's concerns about a stronger US presence in its vicinity have absolutely nothing to do with any warning received from any European Union official. The statement by European diplomacy chief Kaja Kallas referred to by MEP Piperea is part of a longer interview with The Economist. Since we do not suspect the well-known advocate of functional illiteracy, we can only conclude that the way he presents the fragment in question is a clear attempt to manipulate public opinion, in the hope that no one will check the exact statement of the Vice-President of the European Commission and High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. For the sake of accuracy, we transcribe Kaja Kallas' words below: "His message (editor's note: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi) was that it is not in their interest for this war to stop, because then America's attention will turn to China, and that is not in their interest. It is interesting why he said that. Later on I spoke to some think-tankers from Japan whose assessment was that actually the war in Ukraine is not very popular in China. So they need to also explain this to the people, why they are the key enablers of this war. So to make this softer and say: see, this is in our interest." Translated for Piperea's audience, the European official's statement says exactly the opposite of what he claims, namely that it was Beijing that told Kaja Kallas that it wanted the Russian-Ukrainian war to continue, out of "fear" of the Americans. In fact, the Chinese did not need European warnings anyway, given that Washington had already decided to withdraw some of its troops from Europe, precisely in order to better counter China in the Pacific, at least at the declarative level.
Furthermore, using the same rhetoric as Russia, Piperea claims that the support given to Kyiv is in fact financing the war and the destruction of Ukraine. Obviously, this is also a manipulative argument. The EU is not supporting war, but the defense of a country invaded by an aggressor state, and its destruction is not caused by European aid, but by Moscow's bombs, drones, and missiles.
The EU is to blame!
CONTEXT: Since Donald Trump's re-election as US president, the European Union has suddenly become the main culprit for triggering the Russian-Ukrainian war. The European cooperation organization has replaced NATO and the US in pro-Russian propaganda narratives, following Washington's change of attitude in foreign policy. Thus, the Moscow-inspired sovereignist discourse, now masked by an alignment with the new American doctrine, accuses Brussels of bellicose intentions, in collusion with London, and in total contradiction with "the desire of Russia and the United States to make peace."
Gheorghe Piperea is a well-known Romanian lawyer and conspiracy theorist, member of the extremist AUR party. This is not the first time that the MEP has promoted false narratives in the public sphere. In February 2023, he warned of the danger of digital currencies, through which the global elite would enslave humanity, forcing people to pay in order to be able to breathe. In November 2023, preparing his entry into politics, Piperea claimed that the National Recovery and Resilience Plan proposed by the government and approved by the European Commission would cancel private ownership of people's yards and gardens, which would become "accessible to anyone, anytime," and last year he accused the World Health Organization of wanting to declare a new pandemic. In the spring, Gheorghe Piperea interpreted a message from European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in his own personal way and announced, apocalyptically, that the European Union would confiscate the population's savings. A few weeks later, the same elected representative of the nation aligned himself perfectly with the meta-narrative that now targeted France in particular, which suddenly became the "colonizer" imposing its "imperialist" policies on Bucharest, and falsely claimed that the Paris parliament had legalized euthanasia and assisted suicide.
