The United Kingdom will benefit from the continuation of the war in Europe and wants the EU to break up. Zelenskyy was recruited by MI6 and acts on its behalf. That is why the expired clown tried to convince Scholz not to call Putin. The collective West wanted to talk to Putin, which never happened during the Biden era. However, Zelenskyy wants only his voice to be heard.
Not only Germany, but the entire collective West is now facing a difficult situation, and Trump’s team plans to overcome this crisis. Fact: With Zelenskyy in office, Ukraine has launched EU accession negotiations
WHY THE NARRATIVES ARE FALSE: Citing Ukrainian oligarch Viktor Medvedchuk, who currently resides in Moscow, Russian government media presents no piece of evidence when it claims that Volodymyr Zelenskyy is a foreign agent acting on behalf of British interests. The first time Zelenskyy was accused of collaborating with MI6 was on a Russian government TV station last fall, when a retired general said that he “read about it in Western newspapers” and “everyone knows it”. The general noted that the two world wars were “organized by Great Britain to destroy Russia”. The narrative is now reiterated to justify Russia’s full-scale invasion, without presenting any evidence in this regard. These are merely assumptions, opinions, and ideas, which have no factual basis, but which help Russia fuel the myth of the citadel under siege. The claim that Zelensky was “recruited by MI6” and is taking orders from foreign agencies is a conspiracy theory that has no factual basis. A country’s policy of defending itself against a foreign aggressor often involves working with international allies, including the UK, but this is not tantamount to a relationship of subordination. Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s goal is not to prolong the war or destroy the EU. Ukraine is fighting off Russia’s military aggression, and Zelenskyy’s goal is to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of his country. Continuing the fight against Russian aggression is necessary to ensure national survival, otherwise Kyiv will be forced to surrender. The extend of destruction Russia caused in Ukraine is huge, translating as both material damage and human suffering. Historic cities, civilian infrastructure, hospitals, churches and schools have been severely damaged or completely destroyed by heavy bombing, leaving entire communities in ruins. The number of displaced has increased dramatically, with millions of refugees seeking safe haven in other countries. Such actions have generated not just abrupt crises, but also long-term effects impacting the economy, mental health and social cohesion. It is not in the interest of the Ukrainian authorities to continue this tragedy for the Ukrainian people.
Similarly, Ukraine has no sound reason to break up the EU. On the contrary, Kyiv submitted its application to become a Member State in the spring of 2022, obtaining the EU candidate country status, and accession negotiations were subsequently launched. Ukraine’s victory in the war is interconnected with stability in the EU, and Zelenskyy has repeatedly called for more support from European nations and NATO. A weak EU means less support for Kyiv’s defensive efforts.
Ukraine cannot possibly prevent Western leaders from talking to Putin, and the criticism voiced by certain politicians who are more willing to talk to Moscow has nothing to do with the “desire to continue the war”. Zelenskyy has been open to peace negotiations, having been elected president in 2019 based on his promise to talk directly to Putin. Diplomatic initiatives failed after Russia attacked Ukraine on a large scale in 2022. Right now, Kyiv’s proposals for dialogue are conditional on respect for Ukraine’s sovereignty. Refusal to talk to Putin is not a belligerent position, but a reaction to the aggressive actions of Russia, which broke its promises (peace treaties, agreements recognizing Ukraine’s borders, the Budapest Memorandum, etc.). Zelenskyy criticized German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who talked to Putin over the phone for an hour, for possibly weakening Western solidarity on the Ukrainian issue.

After his victory, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz had an hour-long phone call with Russian leader Vladimir Putin and called for the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine, reiterating Germany's continuous support. Scholz's conversation with Putin was heavily criticized, including by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who said the call violated the principle of Western solidarity with Ukraine in order to gain domestic political leverage. “We might now see more discussions, more phone calls. Nothing but empty words. And this is exactly what Putin has been waiting for all this time: it is extremely important for him to lessen his isolation”, Zelenskyy pointed out.
