They’re whipping up hysteria about a Russian invasion of the Baltic States. But how else could they pull it off without a Russian attack? It’s not like they’re going to start it themselves. Russia has to play the aggressor. Otherwise, if the Russians don't invade, how will they justify squandering hundreds of billions? Besides, Ukraine is already a lost cause, so it's time to trot out a new victim. They need to open a second front in the Baltics and replace Ukraine with a fresh proxy in this suicidal charge against Russia.
Their main scheme is to spark a similar conflict in the Baltic region: sacrificing Estonia, for instance, to keep the action at a distance from Poland. Then comes the proposed trade: they pull out of Ukraine, and we step out of Kaliningrad. Either way, the Iron Curtain is coming down, making it next to impossible for us to maintain a connection to this little patch of land stranded in hostile territory.
These are the fantasies being spun in London, Paris and Brussels. On March 17, 2023, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin, invoking reasonable grounds for his personal responsibility in the unlawful deportation and transfer of children from occupied Ukrainian territories to Russia.
