The president of Russia attacked Ukraine because he was suffering from the Havana syndrome, energetically induced by the HAARP system on that territory, claims Cozmin Gușa.

WHY THE NARRATIVES ARE FALSE: The HAARP system is only located in the US state of Alaska. It uses a network of 180 large antennas, and it’s obvious that the replication of such a location would be extremely visible and practically impossible to hide from the public. Moreover, The HAARP system cannot have effects on the surface of the Earth , because it induces plasmonic waves in the ionosphere, which is more than 100 kilometers from the earth's crust, being practically impossible to induce and control any phenomenon at much lower altitudes. It cannot even be a tool for producing climate change or "natural disasters" because the total energy emitted by the system is far too small to induce major changes. In addition, HAARP is used intermittently for short durations during research.
The Russian narrative about biological laboratories (obviously supported by the US) is one of the main topics of disinformation and fakes used by Moscow to justify its invasion of Ukraine. It has been used since before the outbreak of war, not only for Ukraine, but also for other states in the former Soviet space , a space that Russia considers to be its exclusive zone of interest and security, regardless of what those countries think. In reality, no laboratories for the production of biological weapons were there in either Ukraine or the other states, something that Veridica has repeatedly debunked . In fact, general Kirillov’s reports , cited by Cozmin Guşa, do not include any evidence of the existence of WMD production laboratories on the territory of Ukraine, most of the arguments being merely taken from Russian propaganda narratives. Presented by Moscow as a great discovery, they did nothing but justify the military actions launched on the territory of Ukraine, accusing the existence of these laboratories in Luhansk, Donetsk and Kherson, precisely the regions that Russia illegally annexed. Contrary to Gușa's statement, those reports were discussed at the UN , but taking into account the situation on the ground, to verify their veracity is impossible even now, on the one hand because of the ongoing war in the area, and on the other because of Russia , which does not allow the presence of independent observers in the annexed territories.
As for Edward Snowden's "revelations", we are once again dealing with Solid News type of fake news. In reality, Snowden never has stated that the HAARP system is used as a weapon, the information being in fact a satirical article published in July 2013 on the Internet Chronicle website and picked up last spring on social media. To give you an idea of the articles published by this site, the most recent article announces the death of Alex Jones, the famous American conspiracy theorist caused by an overdose of Ozempic. The information that Snowden hid in a Faraday cage (which is not just a "wire cage", as Cozmin Gușă states) is also obviously false, taken from the same article from 2013. It is true that the joke of the Internet Chronicle started from the fact that when he was in Hong Kong, Edward Snowden would ask visitors to put their phones in the fridge, which he claimed would act as a "Faraday cage".
So, the theory according to which Vladimir Putin would have been affected by some disease, in the first months of the war, becomes extremely ridiculous. Moreover, Moscow officials have consistently denied that the Russian president was suffering from any illness, despite speculations in the Western media . If the information presented by Gușa were real, it would have certainly been fully used by the Kremlin propaganda.

BACKGROUND: HAARP is an American terrestrial atmospheric research program, located in Alaska, owned by the University of Fairbanks, whose purpose is to direct radio waves to the ionosphere, the atmospheric layer several hundred kilometers above the Earth. The system has become very popular among conspiracy theorists, who claim that it is actually used by the US to influence weather phenomena and tectonic plate movements, causing "apparently natural" disasters such as large-scale storms or earthquakes, although there is no single report by researchers showing that the waves produced by HAARP could produce artificial weather phenomena.
The Havana syndrome first appeared at the US embassy in Cuba in 2016. Several diplomats and embassy staff began to feel sick, accusing temporary loss of hearing or vision, dizziness or other neurological issues. Shortly after, the mysterious disease also affected the employees of the Canadian embassy in Havana. Since then, at least 130 US officials on missions around the world have been affected. In 2021, at the very beginning of Joe Biden's term, Vienna became the place where the most cases were reported, after Havana. In 2023, the United States intelligence community concluded that the “Havana Syndrome” was not due to deliberate action by a foreign country , although the accusations were initially directed at Russia. Recently, however, an investigation by The Insider, in collaboration with CBS and Der Spiegel , has brought new evidence to suggest that unexplained ailments suffered by American diplomats may stem from the use of directed energy weapons used by members of GRU 29155, a Russian sabotage unit.
Cozmin Gușă is a controversial politician/analyst/consultant/businessman, described by the Romanian press as close to/sympathizer/agent of influence of Russia, who "owns" through intermediaries the website Solidnews and its associated radio station, Gold FM – sanctioned several times by the Audiovisual Council for spreading false information. Over time, the two media entities have spread several false narratives and misinformation related to the Covid19 pandemic or the war in Ukraine, accusing the collective West of being the real enemy of European peace. At the same time, the website regularly publishes the opinions of propagandists of Russian narratives, such as Adrian Severin or Dan Diaconu, who claim that the US dictates Bucharest’s policy and is pushing Romania towards a war with Russia, presented as a victim of NATO and defender of democracy and European moral values. Cozmin Gușă's son, Andrei, is currently a deputy in the Romanian Parliament from the extremist party SOS Romania, whose president is the pro-Russian politician Diana Șoșoacă.
PURPOSE: To promote a pro-Russian discourse, to trigger anti-Western and, by extension, anti-Ukrainian sentiments, to validate one's own conspiracy theories, to provoke and amplify social tensions.
