To conceal the deaths caused by anti-COVID vaccines, the term “sudden death” was coined, says a well-known anti-vaxx publication.

Autism? Vaccines? Autoimmune diseases? Vaccines. Sudden death? Vaccines.

NEWS: American studies that we have been presenting ever since the start of the year confirm the possibility of death in people with heart problems and poor blood circulation, identified post-vaccination. In addition, since then thousands of similar reports of “sudden deaths” have been identified in people who took the jab.

With every day that passes we learn of a new sudden death, with no apparent explanation. […] Too many sudden deaths have been reported in recent days in young people and employees, with no known medical priors!

Authorities have launched a criminal investigation into manslaughter, although evidence shows this is rather a suspicious death. We suggest investigators should first check the victim’s vaccine status.

NARRATIVE: The global cabal coined the term “sudden death” in order to conceal the true cause of fatalities caused by anti-COVID vaccines.

BACKGROUND: Ever since preliminary information about anti-COVID vaccines became public, at a time when vaccines were not yet available on the market, some voices doubted not only their effectiveness, but their true purpose, raising rhetorical queries regarding their swift development, or to their production before other treatments for AIDS, cancer or other types of disease which right now have no certified treatments. Once the vaccination campaign kicked off at global level, the first fake news also surfaced, detailing deaths caused by the vaccines, the most famous of which was the case of a medical nurse from the state of Alabama, who allegedly died just 8 hours after being administered the anti-COVID jab. Later, disinformation started to associate real deaths of people with anti-COVID vaccination, without providing any clear evidence to substantiate these claims, up to virtually ignoring the pathology of patients prior to their death. Eventually, a meta-narrative emerged, stating that the number of vaccination-related deaths exploded at global level, and that in order to conceal their true cause, governments came up with a new term, “sudden death”. Promoters of this false narrative in Romania include supporters of conspiracy theories, radical Orthodox Christians, sovereigntists, Eurosceptics and anti-Westerners. The most vocal publication that picked up, appropriated and amplified the fake news regarding sudden deaths caused by anti-COVID vaccination is the Activenews publication, which launched a genuine anti-vaxx crusade as early as January 2021. By now, Activenews has published dozens of articles on its website, describing the deaths of several people from Romania, without providing any evidence their death was caused by anti-COVID vaccination. Furthermore, the website has been promoting other false narratives regarding vaccines, in an attempt to self-validate its own conspiracy theories, by interviewing pseudo-experts, referring to various anonymous websites or falsely citing medical studies. Veridica has already debunked several fake news and disinformation narratives regarding anti-COVID vaccines, which allegedly reduce life expectancy in men by 24 years, cause testicular PURPOSE cancer in men, or physical disabilities in women.

: To undermine the population's trust in the authorities, to promote the anti-vaxxer discourse, to validate one's own conspiracy theories, to stir and amplify social unrest.

The “Sudden Death” Syndrome was documented as early as the 1970s

WHY THE NARRATIVE IS FALSE: The “Sudden Death Syndrome” (SDS) is a generic term assigned to a number of biological scenarios leading to quick-onset and unforeseen mortality. The person involved often has little to no warning signs of illness. Even after death, an autopsy may not reveal obvious abnormalities. In the medical world, the term varies depending on the categories of patients: SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) for infants and toddlers and SADS (Sudden Adult / Arrhythmic Death Syndrome) in the case of adults.

The term was first proposed in 1969, in order to focus attention on a subgroup of infants with similar clinical features whose deaths occurred unexpectedly in the postnatal period. Accepted as an official cause of death only in 1971, the term was also assigned a separate code (798.0) in the International Classification of Diseases compiled by the World Health Organization. Today, SIDS typically refers to the death of an apparently healthy infant, death remains unexplained after a thorough case investigation including a death scene investigation, complete autopsy, and review of medical and clinical history. SIDS is typically associated with a sleep period, with death presumed to have occurred during sleep itself or in the transition between sleep and waking.

The term SADS is at least 20 years old, being used to describe the death of young adults without an apparent cause. Moreover, in a slightly different form, the term had been used ever since the 1980s, when the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the American federal agency in charge of centralizing and promoting medical statistics, public health programs and information addressing medical staff and the public at large, reported the observation of “a sudden and unexpected sudden and unexpected nighttime death syndrome”. Another study, published in 2007, refers to “a large number of inherited arrhythmogenic syndromes that cause sudden death” have been identified over the past two decades. The same study states that “the first manifestation of the disease is often cardiac arrest […]and sudden death. […] Unfortunately, a postmortem examination of the victim does not suggest the specific cause, and, all too frequently, the possibility of an inherited sudden death syndrome is not considered, or family members are not informed of the possibility when the autopsy is unrevealing”.

Therefore, no matter how tragic or surprising it might seem, a small number of young people suddenly die every year all over the world, without an apparent biological or chemical cause. The phenomenon has been studied in depth for dozens of years, thus ruling it out as a novel development. At the same time, studies failed to reveal any evidence attesting that vaccines in general and anti-COVID vaccines in particular (the latter having been developed nearly half a century after the syndrome was discovered) might be the cause behind it. Furthermore, contrary to conspiracy claims, three is no revealing statistics that prove the incidence of SDS increased as a result of anti-COVID vaccination.

Finally, the bias of antivaxx propagandists must be stressed. Whenever they announce the surprising death of people they don’t know, antivaxxers introduce more or less veiled references to “sudden death”, whereas the deaths of people known to have refused vaccination are described as “untimely departures to heaven” or “passed away after fighting a merciless disease”.
