Don't you understand that the illegitimate president in Cotroceni, Ilie Bolojan, was put there with the mission of sabotaging democracy and licking the boots of Soros' globalists' which crushing our necks and will?
NARRATIVE: Interim president Ilie Bolojan wants to reduce the number of days off granted to employees in Romania.
PURPOSE: To promote conspiracy rhetoric, to undermine trust in state authorities, to stir and amplify social unrest.
The President does not have the right to make legislative proposals
WHY THE NARRATIVE IS FALSE: According to paragraph 1 of article 74 in the Romanian Constitution, legislative initiatives can only be forwarded by the Government, Parliament or a number of at least 100,000 citizens with the right to vote. Therefore, it is easy to infer that the president of Romania, much less an interim one, does not have the right to submit legislative initiatives and, as a result, cannot submit legislative proposals of any kind. The false narrative is most likely based on the idea stated by Ilie Bolojan, several times in recent years, of amending the Labor Code, in such a way that employees who work on Saturdays would no longer receive days off, but compensation and financial incentives. Bolojan justifies his proposal arguing that labor productivity in Romanian companies would thus increase considerably. At no time, however, did the current interim president speak about eliminating public holidays from the official calendar.
In fact, the draft law incriminated by doctor Adrian Cacovean was submitted by 27 MPs from SOS Romania party, led by Diana Șoșoacă (with whom he shared his fight against the global cabal) and in fact sought to introduce a new public holiday (in addition to the 17 statutory holidays), in celebration of World Cancer Day, on February 4. Due to negligence, disinterest or even incompetence, the legislative bill registered in the Senate by the patriotic MPs on April 16, 2025, originally provided for introducing a new legal day off in February, but also for eliminating six already existing public holidays, even though, in the motivation accompanying the bill, its initiators did not mention anything about reducing the current list of public holidays, but only about adding a new one on February 4. Later, on April 22, 2025, the draft was amended to add the six free days omitted in the form initially submitted, which signaled that this was not the intention of the authors of the legislative proposal, and that at least one member of the party had kept a cool head after the Easter break.
However, we cannot help but notice the hypocrisy of the elected representatives of SOS Romania, who, on the one hand, fight the oppressive globalist system, and on the other hand want to devote a public holiday to an event created by the UICC (Union for International Cancer Control), an organization affiliated to the WHO (World Health Organization), the main instrument of repression used by the global cabal, conspiracists say. In fact, the project is just evidence of the cheap populist rhetoric fostered by Diana Șoșoacă's party, through a fumbled legislative initiative, in the context of the presidential election, with a view to attracting more public attention in the local media landscape, traditionally dominated by parties with candidates enrolled in the current electoral race. The initiative is most likely part of the actions occasioned by the “Renașterea Speranței” (The Rebirth of Hope) conference, organized by SOS Romania at the end of March, which was intended to be an event dedicated to the “fight against cancer”, but in fact it was just an opportunity for the nationalist MEP to promote, once again, her conspiracy discourse, without making any real contribution to the “fight against cancer”.
The global cabal is in everything and everyone
BACKGROUND: This month's presidential election has generated great excitement in the media in Romania, leading to a genuine well-coordinated electoral war, as demonstrated by a study conducted a few days ago by a group of volunteers. The election campaign has occasionally been spiced up with allegations of cyber attacks on the candidates' social media accounts, and obviously, with the promotion of fake news and disinformation narratives regarding candidates and their entourage. As usual, sovereignists seized this opportunity to once again accuse the current governing coalition of selling the country to foreign interests and betraying the Romanian nation. As I have repeatedly pointed out over time, sovereignists’ conspiracy discourse systematically capitalizes on all the major topical themes, even if they often clash head-on. For this reason, their themes sometimes take on hilarious overtones, creating confusion even among followers of various conspiracy theories.
Adrian Cacovean, a surgeon who retrained as a homeopath, is a well-known Romanian conspiracy-monger, who has become a strong opponent of vaccination and allopathic medicine in general, and who claims that viruses do not exist and the COVID pandemic was just a fabrication of the global cabal. However, in March 2020, shortly after its appearance in Romania, Cacovean was marketing a purported medicine against the coronavirus, an action that prompted the authorities to launch a criminal investigation for fraud.
In September 2024, picking up on a false narrative that had appeared as early as 2021, Cacovean claimed that Mark Zuckerberg, the head of Meta, knew about the negative effects of anti-COVID vaccines and hid the truth about them.
