WHY THE NARRATIVES ARE FALSE: We should start by making it clear that the "special privileges and immunity" referred to in the analyzed article have not been canceled, they have just been temporarily suspended , pending the resolution of a lawsuit initiated by the Law Society of Kenya– LSK), the organization which brings together Kenyan legal specialists and which is mandated by law to provide advice and assistance to the government and the general public in all matters related to the administration of the justice system in the East African country. The most important aspect to remember is that the suspension of these rights was not caused by the "increase in the number of deaths caused by vaccines", but by the fact that, in LSK's opinion, the privileges enjoyed by the Gates Foundation were not within the legal provisions in force, which would allow granting them only to international organizations such as the UN, WHO, etc. Moreover, in the exposition of the reasons that led to the initiation of the process, LSK clearly states that it recognizes the merits of the foundation in improving the health and raising the standard of living of the population in developing countries.
Moreover, the invoked privileges did not benefit Bill Gates personally, but the members and employees of his foundation, from other states, working on Kenyan territory. The said privileges provide for rights similar to those of employees of diplomatic missions regarding exchange control facilities or repatriation during international crises. At the same time, they include immunity from prosecution, but only for actions carried out in the exercise of official duties, exemption from payroll taxes (which are paid in the country of origin), as well as no restrictions on immigration and registration of foreigners for themselves and their families.
As for the narrative related to Bill Gates and vaccines, we are dealing with the resumption of an old conspiracy theory which claims that the American billionaire, as a leading member of the global cabal, is carrying out an evil plan to suppress the population of the globe through vaccines, which, when they don’t kill people right away, make them sterile or terminally ill. Gates has also been accused of seeking to implant chips in people’s brains and use them to control their thoughts and actions, or that, in collaboration with the giant Monsanto, he genetically modifies plants in order to poison humanity through food. In reality, the American businessman is practically the biggest philanthropist on the planet right now, his contribution to his own foundation alone reaching 60 billion dollars, with activities carried out in 135 countries. Moreover, thanks to his friendship with Warren Buffet, the Gates Foundation has benefited, since its establishment, from funds worth over 35 billion dollars, donated by the finance mogul to various charitable causes it has supported. Thanks to the charitable actions and funding of medical research in the field carried out by the Gates Foundation, several serious diseases, such as meningitis, tuberculosis, malaria, poliomyelitis, sexually transmitted diseases, and even Covid-19, have been eradicated or reduced to a few cases annually, from tens and hundreds of thousands.

CONTEXT: False narratives regarding the effectiveness and effects of vaccination have been circulating for many years, stemming from various sources, and becoming much more visible with the advent of anti-covid vaccines. One of the sources is Russia, which aims to destabilize Western societies, but at the same time there are also a lot of Western publications and "influencers", usually from the area of the radical right and conspiracists, which are also sources of disinformation. Thus, real anti-vaccine movements have emerged in many countries, strongly influenced by some of these narratives, which they take over, internalize and amplify. And because those behind the "plot" had to have an identity, that identity has been attributed, one by one, to the world's billionaires, especially to those involved in actions aimed at counteracting the various crises the planet is facing. Among them, the tycoons Bill Gates and George Soros, as well as the leader of the World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab, hold leading positions.
In tune with the global trends, conspiracy theories related to health are increasingly present in the Romanian media space, where there is more and more talk about the existence of an occult plan - the Great Healthcare Reset - at the global level, aimed at reducing the population of the planet and/ or controlling it completely. They are promoted by various publications or figures from the ultra-religious conservative area, but they are also taken over and used by politicians, for electoral purposes , or people known to be close to Russia and its foreign policy. According to the conspirators, currently, the population is made sick both by the "forced feeding" imposed by the global cabal, and by almost any medical intervention, in order to exercise control over the thoughts and movements of those affected. At the same time, conspiracy theorists claim that, from now on, humanity will constantly be faced with made-up pandemics which, on the one hand, will kill most people, and on the other, will suppress the individual rights and freedoms of those left alive.
Several conservative publications pick up on these false narratives and seek to validate their anti-vaccination theories through pseudo-experts, anonymous websites, or by falsely citing various studies. Veridica has already debunked several fake news and pieces of disinformation about vaccines which either introduce nanobots into the human body for total control, or cause mental illnesses and sterility over three generations and shorten the life of men by 24 years, or cause those who are immunized physical disabilities, testicular cancer, myocarditis, and even death.
PURPOSE: To promote a conspiratorial and anti-vaccine discourse, to lower trust in the health-care system and, by extension, in the state authorities, to provoke and amplify social tensions.
