The weapons delivered to Ukraine might be transiting the territory of the Republic of Moldova, says the pro-Russian politician Igor Dodon, in an interview given under house arrest. His statements were also taken over by the official press of the Russian Federation and aim to disinform and accuse the pro-European government in Chisinau of wanting to involve the country in the war.
NEWS: “The Former President of Moldova Igor Dodon admits that the government in Chisinau would ensure the transit of weapons delivered to Ukraine via the territory of Moldova”, Ria Novosti writes. The publication takes over the statements made by him in an interview on Publika TV.
“The current government participates in all anti-Russian celebrations, makes anti-Russian statements, bans everything that is Russian. They provide, via Moldova, logistics to supply the Ukrainian army. I'm sure it's not just fuel. Every day, hundreds of wagons are heading for Ukraine. But it's not just fuel, people say it's covered trucks. It is likely they are delivering weapons to Ukraine. It is very dangerous, no one has asked us, and Moldova is becoming a direct participant in the military conflict”, said the former president Igor Dodon, in an interview for Publika TV.
