Senator Diana Șoșoacă, elected in Parliament on behalf of AUR, but who no longer represents this party, said the anti-COVID vaccines may cause sterility across three generations as a possible side effect.
NEWS: “The vaccine will modify the human genome, meaning your structure will change. It shortens your life. Not to mention that some researchers right now claim the vaccine induces sterility across three generations.
[…] It is very clear there are side effects that lead even to death. Until this experiment is over, by December 2023, I will militate against vaccination. I advise each and every one of you against getting immunized as long as no one is compensating anyone! In case of death, they should pay five million Euro to the deceased’s family!
Many researchers say it affects the human genome, meaning the vaccine substitutes God and modifies the DNA structure, which means that you will stop being human beings! Will children whose parents got vaccinated undergo the same genetic transformation? Will they be normal people like us, or will they be pseudo-people, a new species altogether?
Of the total number of women who sustained side effects, over 75% had abortions, those who were pregnant, and the rest are sterile as a result of vaccination. I wonder how many women will still be able to have children in the future… I’m calling on Romanian children and teenagers not to get vaccinated!”, Șoșoacă said in an interview for B1 TV.
NARRATIVE: People who get vaccinated against coronavirus will become sterile and will turn into “pseudo-people” belonging to a new species across generations.
BACKGROUND: Senator Diana Șoșoacă is one of the main advocates of conspiracy theories revolving around vaccination, particularly the anti-COVID-19 vaccine. The senator uses populist messages and arguments with no scientific basis with a view to boosting her popularity and her political rating.
Diana Șoșoacă’s messages are in perfect tune with “anti-vaxx” movements of conservative origin, in particular the narratives intensely promoted by Russian media concerning the “dangers” of vaccines. Moscow first and foremost wants to spread panic in Western societies and obstruct health safety measures taken by the governments in these countries.
In Romania, such narratives are also promoted by Orthodox priests amongst their parishioners. These priests particularly invent apocalyptic stories about the fate awaiting people who get vaccinated, like the one about the vaccine turning people into zombies and their skin to scales.
There is also talk about a “global cabal” made up of world leaders and billionaires, whose ultimate purpose is to enslave humanity.
Moreover, Diana Șocoacă also promotes good relations with Russia and is an overt admirer of the Kremlin leader, Vladimir Putin.
The Senator’s populism lacks any kind of responsibility or civic spirit at a critical time when Romania has been reporting for two weeks 10,000 new cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection (and an average of 15,000 as of October 5) and over 100 related fatalities on average every day.
On the other hand, epidemiologists have warned against the rising mortality rate reported amongst people who get infected with COVID-19 in this fourth wave, when every seven minutes a person is killed by this virus in Romania.
PURPOSE: To induce fear and anxiety at society level regarding anti-COVID-19 vaccination, with a view to destabilizing Western countries.
WHY THE NARRATIVE IS FALSE: Diana Șoșoacă provides no scientific arguments to support her claim about the infertility of people who get vaccinated. Her statements are actually borderline ridiculous and illogical. In the event an individual becomes sterile, he wouldn’t be able to reproduce, hence there will be no generation following him, let alone three.
WHO STANDS TO BENEFIT: The Kremlin, populist and extremist parties in Romania which speculate the health and political crisis at home to boost their political ratings.
