Ukraine has abandoned refugees who fled the country, and Chișinău authorities have no interest in taking care of the refugees who’ve reached Moldova, donbasstoday.ru writes. The narrative is rolled out by Russian media after Ukrainian refugees were previously the target of a smear campaign. In fact, world organizations and leaders have hailed the way Chișinău authorities and Moldovan society have helped refugees from Ukraine.
The government in Chisinau is bringing the country closer to NATO, which supplies the Republic of Moldova with weapons in order to prepare it to become a future theater of war against Russia, writes the Russian press, citing as an argument the delivery of 3 (THREE) armored vehicles by Germany. This is yet another plea for neutrality that ignores the facts, which show that, in fact, to Russia neutrality means only the acceptance of its hegemony and that it is ready to attack neutral countries that do not want to be in its sphere of influence.
The Romanian Orthodox Church wants to take over parishes of the Moscow Patriarchate in Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, the pro-Kremlin publication Politnavigator writes. According to the media outlet, the first step in this respect in Ukraine would be for Romania to capture Bukovina, whereas in the Republic of Moldova the Moldovan authorities will abolish the Metropolitanate of Moldova, which is subordinated to the Russian Orthodox Church. The article contains a number of false narratives designed to promote several disinformation theses, for instance Romania allegedly having an expansionist policy and Ukraine being an artificial state.
“Romania is worried by Moldova’s war-mongering”, reads a recent false narrative promoted by Russian propaganda and shared by media institutions in Chișinău. The author, a former communist MP, also interposes several false theses, designed to undermine the solidity of Chișinău-Bucharest relations. In fact, Romania remains the top supporter of the Republic of Moldova in the EU, as well as a major trade partner, and irrespective of which political party takes power, it is the first country to support the Republic of Moldova in times of crisis.
The European Union has greenlighted the annexation of the Republic of Moldova by Romania, and the puppet government in Chisinau accepts this, according to fake news that repeats one of the narratives promoted by Russian propaganda and pro-Moscow voices in the Republic of Moldova. In reality, Brussels has never spoken in favor of unification, considering the Republic of Moldova an independent state, to which it offered the EU accession candidate status.
“The accession of the Republic of Moldova to the EU, conditional on the legalization of LGBT marriages”, headlined national.ro, the topic being immediately taken up by pro-Kremlin news sites in the Republic of Moldova and Russia. In fact, it is not an obligation, but a recommendation from May of the European Parliament regarding the rights of the LGBT community. Ridden with mystical drivel, lies and elements recalling of Nazi propaganda, the narrative surfaced in response to the first “blackout” simulation organized in Romania two weeks ago in Mediaș.
The power in Chisinau wants to force the entry of the Republic of Moldova into NATO and for this purpose is trying to silence the opposition through criminal cases, according to the Kremlin-affiliated media. The same media say that inviting the Republic of Moldova to the NATO meeting in Bucharest represents a violation of its neutrality status and a further confirmation that this country is already “with one foot” in NATO.
With its sovereignty at the mercy of the great Western powers, Romania is now turning itself into a doormat for Kyiv and dismissed its Minister of Defense, Vasile Dâncu, just because he spoke of peace, according to the former Prime Minister, Viorica Dăncilă. The narrative very much resembles Russia's, according to which Ukraine - the country under attack - is the one that does not want peace. Viorica Dăncilă has also promoted the false narrative that Ukraine undermines Romania’s agriculture and, implicitly, its economy.
The Republic of Moldova wants to give Transnistria to Ukraine in exchange for a part of the region of Odessa. Kyiv might thus get its hands on the munition warehouse Russia is currently controlling in Transnistria, according to a false narrative disseminated by the Russian media. In fact, a territory exchange was never in the cards. As regards the munition storehouse, the Republic of Moldova has for many years asking that the munition be transferred to Russia and that this country withdraw from its territory.
