He is Doctor of History, associate professor at the Faculty of History and Political Sciences at “Ovidius” University of Constanța. He has published studies devoted to political history in the interwar period, as well as two volumes of his own: “Central Europe and the Temptation of Federalism. History and Diplomacy in the Interwar Period”, (Cetatea de Scaun Publishing House, 2015), and “Royal Diplomacy. The Royal House of Romania in Central and Southeastern Europe in the Interwar Period” (The Romanian Academy. Center for Transylvanian Studies, Cluj-Napoca, 2015).

The practice of compiling “blacklists” has reemerged in Romania. Such lists were used by legionnaires and communists to take out their opponents. The former provoked a spiral of political violence and death.
